Terms of Service

Last updated: April 13, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By inviting Insurrection Scanner (the “Bot”) to your Discord server, accessing the web dashboard, or using any related services (collectively the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.

2. Description of Service

Insurrection Scanner is a Discord bot designed to help server administrators detect and moderate users associated with Roblox “condo” communities and inappropriate content. The Service cross-references joining members against third-party databases (ISB, TASE, Rotector) and may automatically take moderation actions as configured by server administrators.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service, in compliance with Discord's own Terms of Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. Server administrators must have the Discord ADMINISTRATOR permission on the relevant guild to manage settings via the dashboard.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Harass, target, or wrongfully flag individuals
  • Abuse the appeal or removal request systems with false submissions
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service
  • Circumvent any access controls or rate limiting measures
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

5. Moderation Actions

Automated moderation actions (ban, kick, timeout) are performed based on database matches and administrator-configured settings. We do not guarantee the accuracy of third-party database information. Server administrators are solely responsible for the moderation settings they configure and the resulting actions taken in their servers.

6. Appeals & Removal Requests

Users who believe they have been incorrectly flagged may submit an appeal through the appeal page. Appeals are reviewed manually by our team and may take up to 48 hours. Submitting false or misleading information in an appeal may result in a permanent denial. We reserve the right to accept or reject any appeal at our discretion.

7. Data Collection

The Service collects and stores Discord user IDs and associated metadata (usernames, server membership data) as necessary to provide its moderation functionality. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details on how data is collected, used, and stored.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific moderation action will occur. Database information is sourced from third parties and we make no representations as to its accuracy or completeness.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to wrongful moderation actions, missed detections, or data loss.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to discontinue the Service, remove the Bot from any server, or revoke dashboard access at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. You may remove the Bot from your server at any time.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.

12. Contact

If you have questions about these Terms, you may reach us through the appeal system or by contacting a system administrator via Discord.
